About Bliss + You Coaching

Career expertise with a human approach.

Your career is about more than a job title or a paycheque. It can influence your confidence, your well-being, your sense of purpose, and how you spend a significant part of your life.

At Bliss + You Coaching, with 15+ years of experience, I believe career strategy should take the whole person into consideration.

I’m Jennifer Bouley, a Career Coach with more than 15 years of experience across career development, recruitment, human resources, resume writing, and coaching. I help people gain clarity, recognize their strengths, communicate their value, and make thoughtful career decisions that support both their professional goals and their well-being.

Putting Wellness Back Into Career Strategy

Career success doesn’t have to mean constantly pushing yourself, staying in a role that no longer fits, or sacrificing your well-being to move forward.

My approach combines practical career expertise with a focus on self-awareness, mindfulness, and sustainable career growth.

Together, we can explore questions such as:

  • What do I actually want from my career?
  • What are my strengths and transferable skills?
  • Is it time for a career change?
  • How can I position my experience more effectively?
  • What kind of work environment is right for me?
  • How can I move forward without burning myself out?
  • What practical steps can I take next?

The goal isn’t simply to find another job. It’s to help you develop a career direction that makes sense for you.

Why I Became a Career Coach

My own career journey has shaped the way I work with clients.

Like many people, I’ve made career decisions based on what seemed practical at the time. In 2014, I accepted a position as an insurance advisor with a major bank because it offered stability, a good income, and seemed like a sensible career move.

On paper, it made sense.

In reality, it wasn’t the right fit for me.

That experience became an important turning point. It helped me recognize how easy it can be to choose a career based on what looks good from the outside without considering whether it actually aligns with your strengths, values, goals, and well-being.

I eventually returned to the career-development work that brought together my experience in recruitment, human resources, resume writing, and helping people navigate employment and career decisions.

That journey is one of the reasons I believe career coaching should be about more than simply getting a job.

It’s about understanding where you are, where you want to go, and what needs to change to get there.

Experience You Can Rely On

I have worked in career development since 2014 and have supported people at many different stages of their careers.

  • Mid-career professionals

  • Community and nonprofit organizations

My background includes experience in recruitment, post-secondary education, human resources, nonprofit organizations, and career development.

I also bring extensive experience in resume writing and professional branding, giving me an understanding of both the job seeker’s perspective and what employers and recruiters look for.

Education & Professional Development

My educational and professional background includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Labour Relations
  • Diploma in Social Service Work

I continue to develop my knowledge and skills so that the support I provide remains practical, relevant, and grounded in current career-development practices.

My Approach

I don’t believe there is one perfect career path.

Your career needs to reflect your circumstances, priorities, strengths, goals, and definition of success.

My role isn’t to tell you what career you should choose. It’s to help you ask better questions, understand your options, identify realistic opportunities, and develop a plan that moves you forward.

Whether you’re starting your career, changing direction, returning to work, looking for a new opportunity, or simply questioning whether your current career still fits, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Let’s Talk About Your Next Step

You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

Sometimes the first step is simply having a conversation about where you are and what you’re experiencing.

If you’re ready to explore what’s next, I invite you to book a free 30-minute introductory consultation.

Career clarity starts with a conversation.
